ResMed AirSense11 Quick Start Guide
Setting up your ResMed AirSense 11 CPAP machine is simple. Use our quick start guide to walk you through the steps and you'll be ready to start your new therapy!
Below is a quick start guide for setting up your AirSense 11. Click here for a video on how to view and choose your comfort settings, generate a summary of your nightly sleep data and access other helpful support features.
Step 1: Place the device on a stable level surface.
Step 2: Connect the power cord into the power inlet at the rear of the device. Connect one end of the power cord into the adaptor and the other end into the power outlet. Ensure the device is set up and connected to power to enable settings to be applied wirelessly to the device if required.
Step 3: Connect the air tubing firmly to the outlet connector at the rear of the device.
Step 4: Open the humidifier tub and fill it with drinking quality water (potable). The humidifier tub must be removed from the device before adding water. Fill the humidifier tub up to the maximum water level mark. The humidifier tub has a maximum capacity of 380 mL.
Step 5: Close the humidifier tub and insert it into the side of the device.
Step 6: Connect the free end of the air tubing firmly onto the assembled mask.
Step 7: Connect your AirSense 11 and smart device via the myAir app. The myAir app has many helpful features including device setup videos, mask fitting videos, trying therapy using the Test Drive feature, and tracking your sleep health progress.
Before pairing the AirSense 11 device to a smartphone, ensure the app's latest version is installed on the smartphone. If not, download the app from the App Store® or on Google Play®. Pair the AirSense 11 device to your phone.
- Ensure your AirSense 11 device is set up correctly and plugged into a power source.
- Launch the myAir app. Tap Continue.
- Follow the prompts on the myAir app to complete the Bluetooth connection.
- Your AirSense 11 will then be connected to the app. The Bluetooth connection symbol appears on the status bar to confirm the connection between the AirSense 11 device and your smartphone.
- Tap Save.
